主讲人简介♦️：刘志文博士目前是美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学电子工程系教授。2002年获得加州理工学院电子工程专业博士学位，并在加州理工学院进行为期一年的博士后研究工作。2003年加入美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学电子工程系。他的主要研究领域包括超快非线性光学、光学成像和光谱仪♣︎，以及纳米光子学。

Smart-phone based optical spectrometer

Abstract: A compact optical spectrometer can be realized by using a hybrid grating-Fresnel (G-Fresnel) diffractive optical element, which has a dual dispersion and focusing property. The fabrication and characterization of the G-Fresnel, and demonstration of a G-Fresnel smart phone spectrometer will be discussed. Smart phone based optical spectroscopy can potentially open new sensing and mobile health opportunities.
